Exercise Help

Interesting about what you said Nicole, about the body getting used to getting the excercise! I have been off for about 3 weeks (the campus where I swim has been closed, and I have been bad about finding an alternative excercise), and while I was looking forward to it a little bit, mostly my brain was going "I don't wanna, I wanna stay home!".
However, I drug my protesting brain and the rest of me out to the car and went, and as soon as I got in the pool, my body went "Ahhh, yes, the pool- here we go!" even though my brain was going "man, are my joints and muscles stiff! I'm gonna have to just stretch for 10 mins- ugh!" and I'm checking the clock to see when I can get out- lol. And I feel better now, even though I'm still crudded up from these colds. Go figure.

I guess I don't exercise conventionally. I don't go and jog for 30 minutes a day, but I do drum a lot. I guess the key, for me, is just finding something I liked (in this case playing music) and going with that. I realize that not all hobbies parlay themselves into exercise, but if you like what you're doing (this applies to anything), you'll be more motivated to do it.
