Exercise in your Treatment Routine

Thank you. These are great suggestions! I try not to get so caught up in when to do it and just do it, but I'm also interested in knowing what the best way is.

I just started taking a walk for about 20 minutes or so. Mostly to get my legs back in shape as for the past 4 or 5 years I have done nothing but go to work and sit around. So I usually wake up and do the chest vest for about 15 minutes, then walk. At night I do the vest again for another 15 minutes.

I usually dont correlate my exercise with my treatments. I walk on the treadmill in the evening after dinner usually between 7 pm - 9 pm. Sometimes if i have the day off of work i will walk on my treadmill in the afternoon but it doesnt happen in the afternoon often. I do my vest in the late morning, along with my Albuterol, Pulmozyme and this month Tobi. As much as i wish i had the energy to, i just can not exercise in the morning. It takes me a while to get moving and active . I am most active in the afternoon and evening so thats when exercise is best for me.
In my eyes.... anything is better than nothing when it comes to exercise, and any time of day is better than no time in the day to do it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

During the week I do my albuterol and atrovent, then my gazelle for 15 minutes then my vest and HTS and then TOBI. The only reason I do the gazelle in between is it is the only time I have for it during the week. Though I like doing it that way and it helps get more stuff up when I do my vest after.
