when im playing a soccer game, sometimes the coughing gets a little intense. the ref will ask "r u alright?" and i'll say something like "eh, its not contagious" or something like that.

I cough alot now when I do cardio at the gym and people look at me and I am sure they are not thrilled that there might be someone "sick" working out. Cause I know when I am at the gym and see or hear someone coughing it gets me real nervous that they might be sick so I usually stay away or cut my workout short to get out of there. I am hoping someone might mention or ask why I cough so I can explain it is CF and I am not sick.

From an older member I really don't give a **** what people think or say when stuff comes up! It's our business and they can't catch what we have save a few and then just give them the facts. Sneezed and stuck geometric shapes to objects w/o a response by being up front " ya can't get what I got so don't worry about it!". I call them land Oysters and have won some bets with the elasticity of said junk! Maybe some commercial use of our discharge. Just think the cohesive / adhesive material of the future! LOL
