exercising with baby/kids

Do you exercise with your children? How old is he/she/they and what do you do?

Here's what I do:
-mommy/baby yoga and swim classes at the Y
-hike/jog using jogging stroller
-mommy/baby workout dvd (though Amelia is getting too big to do it)
-long stroller walks (30-60 minutes)

Also, if you workout alone but while caring for your child/children, how do you keep them occupied? Sorry in advance to you lazy butts who don't want to think about fitness. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

I never thought of this as exercise, but looking back it was.

When Jazmine was younger I would do UPLIFTS using her as my weight. My arms were in much better shape. I also did leg lifts with her sitting on my feet.

That only last until she was about 4 because she got too tall LOL!

We both loved it!

I like to take my girls in a trailer hooked to the back of my bike. I did this all Spring and Summer last year. I live in a small town where there are bike trails everywhere. They love it, and I don't get bored. The problem so far is I haven't gotten my strength back from being sick this last time, so I can't get far with that thing on there, yet. The trailer is very, very light, but my girls are getting heavy! My oldest will be on her own bike next year! In the Winter? Ugh. I just suck at it and put it off. lol

I go for a 1.5 mile walk/jog w my LO every day w our jogger stroller. Not only good for my lungs, but walks are proven good 'smart' brain building activity for LO's. Also fun bonding time.

To be honest my best workout helper is our babysitter so I can go to the gym...I just can't get a really great workout at home w all the distractions.

I am really wanting to get a bike trailer too!!! But they are sooo expensive.
