Thanks for the replies! I know we have done this type question before . I was doing it Xopenex, Pulmozyme, and then HTS while doing the vest (got through with the HTS about 10 mins before the vest was done). I'm thinking, too, that maybe I wasn't stopping often enough while doing both the HTS and the vest to cough- I'll try that on the the days when I don't have time to do them seperately...
Thanks for bringing the inhaler up! I keep forgetting to call and get one to try *slaps forehead*. My allergist actually suggested it!
I'm hoping that leaving the Pulmozyme in there longer will help break up the old gunk. And since my dr. had some reservations about the combatability of Pulmozyme and HTS ( he was afraid that the HTS may inactivate the Pulmozyme- just his concern, not anything he read ), that maybe doing the HTS, then beating it out with the vest, and then doing the Pulmozyme (I usually wait about 10 mins or so between), might help a bit in getting out everything I can.
I'll let you know how it goes. I really, really want to find something that will get my Fev1 up to at least the 50's...I am also going to try adding my Gazelle excercise machine inbetween swim days....
And I would really like to get a trampoline, but I haven't sprung that one on my DH yet- lol .
