So we just returned home from a long trip to Michigan, and Andrew's pulmozyme was suprisingly delivered yesterday, right on time. We get his pulmozyme from Curascript, a specialty pharmacy that works with Express Scripts. Anyway, his pulmozyme was delivered with no tubing, neb, etc. so I called them. They do not supply any of that with their neb meds and told me where I could go to buy them. But then, the pharmacist told me "not to stress, because this med can only be administered in the hospital so the hospital will have the supplies necessary. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!

When our Express Script box came with all of our other meds, they had only shipped a 25 day supply of HTS. I called to say we needed a 90 day supply and after 30 minutes of trying to explain that vials are one time use only, and you have to pitch the unused portion at each dose, they finally redid the math and apologized.

All I have done since January is complain to this company. I feel like such a B****. I don't like complaining. I liked the compliments I used to be able to give CF Services Pharmacy.

Tonya,

I also have Express Scripts, but I only use them for Prilosec, Albuterol, Ursodiol, and Pancrecarb (enzymes).

I still use the CF Pharmacy for the Pulmozyme, Hypertonic Saline, ScandiShakes, and vitamins.

Yes, it is a pain in the butt, but I am able to avoid all the headaches that you are sadly having. Maybe that would work for you too? I've only had Express Scripts since January or February and no problems. I don't TRUST ordering CF-specific meds through anyone else but CF services. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

Hi Jenny,

We have always had Express Scripts as our insurance provider, but as of Jan. of this year we now have to use the pharmacy for all of our maintenance meds, too. Very frustrating because I agree with you, I don't trust them with anything CF specific. My husband's employer won't go to bat for us to be allowed to go back to CF Services, so I think I'm stuck.

we've always used just a regular pharmacy, that way when something gets screwed up you figure it out before you leave the store and can go ring their necks then without having to deal with it on the phone. its a small pharmacy that has only 2 pharmacists so by now they have pretty much figured out what all has to be done and how and they haven't given us much trouble recently. as far as my HS goes i get it from a company called option care and so far we haven't had any trouble with them, they just call every month then ship it and it gets there the next day
