Express Scripts does it again! UGH!!

This all boils down to insurance and the restrictions it places on all of us. I've ended up in the hospital because I couldn't get my prescriptions filled on time or properly or whatever the case may have been. I wish the insurance companies would realize that it would be a LOT more cost effective for them to just give us our meds like we need them than to pay for 2 to 3 weeks in the hospital (and for those of us with employer provided insurance, it's better for the company too to have their employees at work, WORKING, than in the hospital being sick); after all, it is all about the bottom line isn't it? *eyeroll*

Thanks for giving me another opportunity to complain about Express Scripts! They truly are awful. I won't go into specifics, but have had them for a few years now and have been so unhappy with 1) their awful customer service; 2) the fact that they give you a phone number they say is the pharmacist, but you'll NEVER be able to directly speak with a pharmacist; 3) they don't communicate with doctors or customers; and 4) did I mention their awful customer service?

I'm so glad you mentioned your latest battle regarding HTS. I'm about to order my first ever HTS from them, and now know what will probably happen to me as well. I'm ready for that battle -- thanks! I hope you don't run into any more issues with them, as I have.

I have had such a problem too with Express Scripts! I feel your pain!!!! Praise the Lord you got them to recalculate and resend the right amount. I have never been able to get that done and if they would send more I would have to pay another copay!

That is so funny, Jennifer, because I was just telling my husband tonight that if they charge us another copay with the new shipment WW3 would start all over again! I am so tired of complaining! The last time I spoke with a customer service rep I told her how lucky I feel that Andrew is pretty healthy and I have time to sit on the phone with them. I know others who do not have the breath, let alone the energy, to deal with their ill- prepared pharmacy. All we can do is complain and hope our voice is heard.

Barbara, it's nice to know we're not alone. I wonder if we would have a stronger voice if we spoke together???
