I want to dig out this thread because we have the same problem with our daughter. At night she is sweating like crazy, mainly the head.
She is only 4 months old and drinks only formula.

Any advice?

Does she wear sleepers with feet? my daughter had/has the same problem also. I switched to feetless sleepers and it seems to help. Babies are also just hotter in general than adults. As she has.gone from baby to toddler the sweating has improved. Though I still put her hair in a ponytail

Hi Kaethe, Did you let her CF doctor / pediatrician know ??? Im sure there can be several reasons for sweating & you will drive yourself crazy trying to guess.. Your daughter is only 4 mos & I would want her drs. expertise .. Take care joni

Well, the doc just said that some kids with CF sweat a lot and others don't...
I am always unsure how I should dress her. Winter is coming and I don't want her to catch a cold. On the other hand if I dress her like other babies she will be soaked through...
Also I know that babies should sleep in a "sleeping bag". With her his is impossible. We tried and after 5 minutes she was completely wet.. Now she wears at night a sleeper (with feet) and a thin blanket. We have 19 degrees Celsius in the bedroom.

This happens to me whenever I have really really bad infections. I'll be soaked from head to toe, my bed will look like someone threw a bucket of water on me while I was sleeping, and all my clothing/bedding needs changing. Also, my hair feels like I just got outta the shower, lol.

Another fun fact about it. I continue to spew fluids from my skin if the already wet skin touches more moisture, lol. If I 100% dry off tho, then it stops.

So yeah, fun stuff. Happens to a bunch of us. XD

And should I dress her "cooler" than other babies? Or will she catch a cold?

I get this with infections as well. Soaked from head to toe (especially my torso). I have checked my blood sugars just to make sure they aren't falling during the night. So far no low blood sugars.
