Thank you everybody for replying and giving me some great ideas

It really is time i stopped being so lazy and started exercising

And just a question: are symbicort or bricanyl the same as advair, i though they all did the same thing?

symbicort is a steroid as is fluticasone (flovent), and fluticasone is a component of advair. advair also contains a long acting beta agonist, which can keep the airways open for longer <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

looks like bricanyl is a long acting beta agonist, so using symbicort & bricanyl together could feasibly give you the same outcome.

one co-pay, one device, one simple deep breath i'd think would be easier, but that's up to you <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I am going for a clinic appointment tommorow and will be asking about advair, although im not sure that in the UK its even called 'advair', because apparently none of the CF patients i know have ever heard of it or ever had it prescribed to them

i guess ill just have to find out tommorow what my options are for treating my small airways problem
