I am a mother of two, I also have two step children and sadly my step daughter who is 8yrs old has CF,She was diagnosed with CF when she was 1yr old. Now it is really hard cause now they are talking about lung transplantaion.to know more about it please go to www.sickkids.ca/pamot

I'm so sorry to hear that your stepdaughter has to have a transplant at such an early age. My son is also going through evaluation for transplant right now but he is quite a bit older, 27. I know the care she is getting right now and will always receive, is the best you can get and I feel so very fortunate to live so close to such wonderful hospitals as Sick Childrens and Toronto General. Please keep us informed as to how she is doing.
