feding tube

hello everyone i was just wondering my mum always is telling me to eat because she says im too skinny and that i will have to get a feeding tube but i dunno if she is just making this up coz my doctor has never said it to me and i dont think im too skinny i weigh 119.9lbs (54.5kg) and my height is good its 172cm (5ft 6 roughly). if anywone can help me dont you have to be like really skinny for a feeding tube yeh? sorry spellins not good lol. oh and i'm 15.

120 and 5'6 is pretty skinny. i don't know if your'e feeding tube skinny but getting some good nutrition in you will most likely help your lung function

My son is 15 too and pretty skinny. He is 5' and weighs 80lbs. He has a feeding tube so he's starting to gain more. If your doctor thinks you are getting skinnier or having a hard time gaining, he will mention options (one of which is a tube). If he hasn't talked to you about it yet, he probably thinks you are doing ok.

dont worry supastar, i dont think you are 'skinny' enough for a feeding tube. remember you are only 15 too. you are probably going through that 'beanpole' stage. over the next few years you should start to fill out naturally. if you wanted to gain weight a couple of kilos is all you need to put on and im sure you could do that easily.
