feeling short of breath all of a sudden

here's the history: last week i missed doing my vest and saline one night and then my saline the next morning. (i know, bad.) i felt like crap all day -- getting short of breath really easily. finally that evening i got a GOOD treatment in, and haven't missed one since. (i had also exercised all week so my lungs were feeling good before this.) but i haven't felt back to where i was yet, either.

overall, i felt good this weekend, besides being a little extra-congested. no shortness of breath at all. although when i breathed in deeply i did not feel like my lungs were filling all the way.

i came back to my apartment today after spending friday and saturday at my boyfriend's. and as the day has gone on, i have been feeling out of breath again! like just sitting doing nothing i notice a difference in my breathing. i can't help but think something here triggered it. but what? mold? or could this be allergies making asthma act up? should i go buy an air purifier?? i think it would be a good think to have anyway. (any suggestions about a good model?)

thanks.

Just a thought. Do you have a
stove with pilots? If you do make sure they are all lit. I had this
prob once that I woke up short of breath and couldn't figure out
what it was. It was like that all day. Until I went to cook dinner
I noticed the stove wasn't lit and I was breathing in gas all day.
So see if that the prob.
The other can very well be a mold but thats hard to figure out
unless you have or have had a water leak. Hope this helps

Just a thought.
When Mike's sugars were high he would get wheezy and short of breath. It was one of the ways I knew for him to check them.

I also get short of breath when my blood sugar is high. It feels like inflammation/asthma type shortness of breath but tends to correlate to when/if my blood sugars are over 200. I often get this in the few hours after I eat a meal, before my insulin has completely lowered my blood sugar.
