FEV% or FEV1

To put it in layman's terms, my doc had explained to me that the FEV1 was as everyone said, how much is blown out and at what rate in a one second time.

The FEV% was ranked in 75%, 50%, 25%, and 10%. These values reflected the parts of the lungs, from the larger air ducts to the smaller air ducts.

BTW, the machine they used to measure my lung function also had a calculator to figure out my lung's "age", and it was 54.
