First CF clinic visit

So we had our firts clinic visit for Luke yesterday. He weighs 8 lbs. 2/12 oz. He gained 3 1/2 oz in 4 days. The nutrition said that it was good, but now we have to make his formula high calorie. His oxygen saturations were 99!!!! And his cultures were negative--normal flora, it said. I was really encouraged. As much as I did not want to hear that diagnosis, I am so relieved that something is finally helping!

Good news! DS was on higher cal formula --- just added more powder to the water. The dietary department had a chart, recipe for every formula under the sun. Plus they gave us a bunch of teeny tiny little premixed bottles.

Is he on any meds, cpt, nebulizer, etc?

Sounds like a really good start. I know the first clinic is incredibly overwhelming, those do get easier!!!!
