it was like 17 weeks when i first felt the flutters and i was laying in bed trying to determine if it was the baby or gas. so i put my hand on my belly and it was the baby. it was late at night and my husband was already asleep. and now i feel him move all the time and i'm 21 weeks.

I fel tthe first flutter with my son at 17 weeks, sooner with my daughter, but I knew what I was looking for. Nothing was consistent until a few weeks later though.

By at least 18 weeks I realized it was ds moving around, I didn't realize what those flutters where previously.

Leah it can also depend on where the placenta is located. Have they mentioned it to you? With both Logan and this one I have an anterior placenta. Sure I first felt him at 16 weeks but I didn't start feeling regular movement till about 2 or 3 weeks later. The u/s tech at the peri's office said that since my placenta was anterior it would probably take longer to feel movement but not as long as a first time mom w/ an anterior placenta and that I would probably feel baby on my cervix and my right side most of the time.

My belly is growing too. my uterus is still low but I guess it has pushed all my intestines up and out or something. It wasn't like this w/ my son at all. The only belly I got was all baby. This time not so much. I had Josh take some belly pics yesterday but I didn't like the way they came out (I just looked fat). So I'll try again this weekend when I'm 16 weeks.
