Lake Ray Roberts went up like 6 feet in 24 hours from run off from Gainsville, and they predict more rain for this week

Hi, I'm hearing that the people that build that huge house right off Bear Creek Rd. had some horrendous damage. You must know the house I'm talking about. They built right past where the creek passes Bear Creek rd. on the north side of the rd. Right where it was crazy to build a house. My husband says it just keeps raining. He said it dried out long enough for him to mow the lawn and he did my parents's yesterday. Family down in San Antonio say it keeps raining there too. On the brigth side we should have a beautiful display of bluebonnets next spring. I hope I'm there to see them.</end quote></div>

Yup I know exactly which house you are talking about. Beautiful house and it's really interesting what they did with the property it was just a bad place to do it. Drove by there the other day and the road was blocked off and flooded over, again. The other side of the park, down near the hockey rink where the ducks hang out, was also flooded right up to road with some benches completely underwater.

Love the optimism about the wildflowers! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> You are right we should be in good shape if it ever stops raining long enough for them to survive.
