I'm in Oklahoma and we are having some flooding too. I saw the news this morning about that little girl - it just breaks my heart. What an awful thing to have your child washed out of your arms!
I can't believe the rain we are having this year. During the past several years we've had to worry about grass fires and drought. This year it's difficult to get the yard mowed in between the showers! It seems it's either famine or feast.

The flooding here is crazy. Like Jordysmom we are normally in major drought. Our lakes were 10+ feet below this time last year, now all our lakes are just about back to normal.

The floods scared me to death this morning. I woke up and heard about them and knew my parents were driving from my brothers house in the Dallas/Ft Worth area back to there home in Austin last night.
Tried to get ahold of them this morning and no answer. Finally heard from them a little bit ago and they had decided to stay one more day at my brothers. THANK GOODNESS!
