okay this is what i dont understand sep 06 my fev1 is 82 april 07 fev 1 66 and now november 07 fev1 87
and within this last year i havent done hardly any physio (cos of studying) must of smoked around 30 joints with my mates from collage and done hardly any exercise ,ive only done my hypertonic saline around 3 times a week and even that is in the evening.Iam doing my colomycin around twice a day 5 times a week and taking the anti inflamotary drugs they give me.cos iam quite productive
Now what i be intersted to know is when i went to my lung function at the hospital i thought my fev 1 would be in the high 50s because i knew i had let myself go and i was utterly shocked to see it at fev1 87 i thought that if ya skipped treatments etc ya lung function would go freefall ,i dont understand it,have others had similar experiences

Just bcause your FEV1 is high doesn't mean that all of your lung function is. You need to look at the entire picture. You could have some significant small airway damage. Go by how you feel too, if you feel like your lung function is lower, then in some aspects it probably is.

I don't mean to sound rude but if you care about your health, stop inhaling pot. I don't know how damaging smoking pot is but inhaling smoke of any kind, aside from prescription drugs, is kind of foolish. You also need to be really diligent about taking your meds, exercising and eating right.
