Hey guys,

As you know, Kelly is in the hospital.

If anyone wants to send her flowers, please PM me and I'll give you the address.

</a>
if you use this link, 12% of the purchase price will be donated to the CFF.

The hospital is all white and blah, so flowers will really brighten her room.

(Hope you don't mind, Kell)

Do you know if there are any certain flowers that might bother her? I know for me there is one type of Lily (Starburst I think) that kills me before its even near me. Just wondering!

Great question. I have no idea.

I, myself, am allergic to flowers. So if I ever go in, no flowers please <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I'll ask her on Monday <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

You're awfully sweet Amy!!!!! Wow! Really though, there's no need. I brought some pictures from home and all is fine, really. Thanks though for thinking of me! So sweet of you! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I wonder if they're going to switch me to Rao starting tomorrow or not, since Shapiro will be retiring next month. I am kind of hoping so, we'll see.

Thanks again for the note, even if you said no newfies. lol. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Kelly,

Hope you are doing well and not too bored out of your mind. Are you in for a clean out or did something flare up?

My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Question to all: I heard that flowers can carry pseudomonous bacteria in the soil they came from. An ICU told me this when I went to bring flowers to someone- that is why they don't let flowers in the ICU. Has anyone heard this???

Oh, yes, I am sure being away from your dogs must be hard. I am sure they miss you and give you all the more reason to get healthy so you can take nice long romps with them when you return.

Get well quickly. Praying for a speedy hospital stay.

Hi there guys. I'm doing about the same, nothing has really improved yet. I started on 2 MAC meds yesterday and will be seeing a specialist today so he'll put me on 3-4 more meds then. I have a ton of questions for the specialist today so I'm hoping for some informative news then. I was starting to get a tightness in my chest that is a bit painful, but I'm thinking it's just a pulled muscle or something from all the coughing. I get that occasionally. So far so good, just waiting to get better. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

How sweet to have a little thread here about me..... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Thanks everyone!

One pain in the booty so far is that I still don't have a PICC in b/c they're Interventional Radiolgy machine was broken and now they're saying that they're backed up with other patients and can't get to me until next week! Big bummer, b/c the floor PIC nurses can not ever get the line in and it's super painful when they try and try with no success. Hopefully I can get a little higher on the list. We'll see. I'm already on my 3rd peripheral line since my veins keep blowing. Joy.

Hope you all are doing well! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hey, sorry to hear about your peripherals. I'm lucky if mine last 24 hours. Grrrrrrrrr.

So what type of specialist will you be seeing? Infectious Disease?

Man I hoep you get your PICC soon.

Keep us posted on how the MAC treatment goes. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
