For those with cepacia

It is very very rare to "get rid of" cepacia once you have it, but i did hear of a few cases where it did happen. ( i'm waiting to be one of 'em <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> ) My doctor told me it takes a long time for the cepacia to grow in a culture and just because the results came back negative.... it might mean they didnt allow enough time for it to grow. I remember a few years back when my results came back negative and i was thrilled, then 2 days later the cepacia showed up in the culture. It's a Very DIFFICULT bacteria to get rid of, but eventually someone will find a way to do it.

I rinse stuff with water. I'm not that concerned about catching something from rinsing a potato with water.</end quote></div>

I always wash my fruits and veggies with antibacterial soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds.
