I have a cable modem and every single website/forum I visit except this one is fast. My five o'clock shadow almost grows back by the time a page loads on this site! Anyone else notice this?

I have a cable modem too, but while this site is slightly slower sometimes, it usually isn't an issue at all...I think it may be the forum set up (which I like btw- it's nice to have the catagories, etc. at the side, where they can be accessed from wherever you happen to be in the forums IMHO). I know this doesn't help you much, except in the way of info collecting, sorry. Have you cleaned your cookies, etc. out lately?

Thanks for replying. Yes I have cleaned my cookies and deleted files. It seems like it's just this site that's slow.

Hmm, I just realized that I do click on a thread twice sometimes when it is loading slowly (I don't even think about it anymore, sorry!).

Just don't do that when you are posting, or you will be posting something at least twice. When I "reply" to something and it is going slow, usually by the time 4 bars are up, it is posted. I just copy my post, close the window and refresh the page, and it is there 99% of the time. I hope that helps .
