Frankie's death

Sorry if I offended anyone by asking. Just wondered! No disrespect was meant at all. I live in WI (state she died in) and I know we saw the same doctor, and everyone was here who took care of her was suprised as well as we were, so I just wondered. Besides, people usually don't die from CF, they die from a complication from the CF: pneumonia, infection, PE (blood clot to the lungs), etc. So, I just wondered what it was since she was apparently doing well.

I am curious to know as well. When I speak of my death I've explained that cf is a gradual, albeit sometimes fast decline and that I won't just keel over one day from cf complications unless I have been declining. Maybe I am misinformed?

I'd rather talk about death here than bring it up as one of my bullet points to discuss with the doctor at a clinic appt. I have so many positive, proactive things to discuss each appt. that a "deep" conversation like that could really derail my appt.'s agenda.

I know someone (maybe it was Allie?) posted at one point about "the 4 (or maybe it was 6) ways cfers die from cf." It was very interesting. It's one of those things that should probably be in a 'reference' section.

It's not an unreasonable question... I was wondering too what happened, because I had heard she was doing well.
