french word for cystic fibrosis?

The French use the term Mucoviscidose. I thought i remembered that from a board i ones visited (with the little French i know hehe). I just googled it and all that came up were French website so i guess it's right.

believe. It is written in the old medical books
mucoviscosis.excessive mucous production and excessive viscosity

through out all my clinic appointments, i was pretty sure they pronounced it like sis teek..and not kiss-teek. Maybe i am just crazy though

hahah thanks everybody! i just ended up saying i had a lung problem that i was born with and that i had too much sugar in my blood (for the diabetes) so she why i have to take medication now... haha

i got this keychain today with her, and it says "sugar? im okay. im sweet enough" and its not supposed to be a diabetes joke, but i thought it was cute if you looked at it that way i tried to explain it to her..but didnt have much luck
