Hey guys,

I read on Nate and Tricia's blog about a young 12 year old Cfer named Haley Palmer. I am sad to report that she passed away today from complications. I refuse to say that she "lost" her battle with CF because it is clear she fought long and hard, and I can't imagine that with a fath as strong as her and her family's that she "lost" anything, but nonetheless I was very saddened by her story. She has a caringbridge site (under haleypalmer) and I know her family would appreciate thoughts and prayers at this time. If nothing else, it's a good reminder to us adult CFers to cherish what we have and remember those who aren't as fortunate...

Thanks all. I can't tell you how much it means to have this support. I don't say that often enough.

I posted this in the Family section too.

I did not know Haley personally, but I have read her mom's postings for the last 6 months and it is obvious that Haley was a beautul girl on the inside and outside.

Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.
