I accidentally left the box of saline syringes in the car overnight (for use with my port and iv medications). They froze. Once they thaw, can they be used or are they ruined?

Hi Jeana ,
I would call the Pharmacy where you got the med from & speak to the Pharmacist .. They usually know the answer , or will check it out for you, about the med you are taking ..

I can't see a problem with that. They use frozen saline in the OR all the time. I would run it past your pharmacist or infusion company first, though. Usually they will just send more overnight if something happens, or you run out for whatever reason. That might be the easiest and most certain way.
