Frustrated...coughing

I am ready to scream!!!!! I have now been out of the aztreonam study for like 6 (off of the meds for 10 weeks) for weeks and although I dont like to rely on these drugs it was doing me so good, taking it every other month. I was sitting in the car with my dad today to go get my car...which is a whole other story. And my dad says you should really call the office and see what is up with that...you sound like cr*p. So I called and the nurse who is in charge wasnt there, but the secretary said that they are still WAITING on approval from the hospital! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How long does it take a hospital to approve an extension to a study they have been doing for 2 years!!!!!!!

So here I sit, coughing a lot more than usual, with lots of nice green oysters...But the other thing is, I dont feel sick...so should I call my doc or not?? Blahhhhhhhh

It must be especially frustrating for you having taken the drug and now not to be able to get back on it. I've been trying to get into the expanded access program but it my clinic didn't want to do the needed paperwork so now I'm stuck looking for another clinic who will take part in the ea program. It seems like such a great drug and really what I need.
