g-tube feels "pumpy"

This is for any adult (or older kid with a g-tube)...

After running around with the neighbor kids tonight, Emily commented, "Uuugggh, my tube is doing it again!" I asked her what it was doing and she said it was feeling "pumpy." She said, no, it didn't really hurt, and it wasn't like a tummy ache. She very specfically said that it wasn't the skin around the tube that hurt...

I'm sure it's probalby just a muscle spasm or something induced by the running, but I was curious whether any of you ever experienced this kind of sensation.

It's always interesting the way kids describe things.

I'm sure it's not serious. I was just wondering...

When the water level is lower on Josh's balloon, he describes it in a similar way. It moves around a little more and makes his stomach feel weird. Maybe check the water level?

Maybe his feels pumpy too? Good word Emily!

He also told me that it happens when he's hungry too.

"pumpy"

when I was hungry or starting to get hungry my stomach would "suck" my button down and then "pop" would release it , it could be uncomfortable if I was very hungry. you could actually see my button (g tube) indent as in got "sucked down" and then *pop* back up.

Malora gets the same thing like Donovan does. It sucks in and out. Malora always says her stomach has a pacifier. Once she eats it stops.
