g-tube issue

I have been having issues with my g-tube since i had them put it in about two years ago. I think my g-tube is a brad or something like that. its not a mickey thats alli know. SO my issues have been that it leaks like crazy all over my shirts and bed sheets... and also it is always red around the site and it hurts or stings around the area too! i put bacatracin or how ever you spell it, on it daily to help out with the redness. it seems to help out a little bit but i cant seem to find an answer for the leakage. it has drivin me crazy. i have asked to get it taken out but the drs say no. I am 5'3" and around 103lbs. so they think i am stil under weight but i refuse to use it while im at home. in the hospital its all good but not while im in my own home having access to all the goodness of food around me! So all in all i would love to have it taken out. but is there anything that can help with the leakage for right now? thanks for the help....

why wont they remove it and just give you ng tubes in hospital? sounds like your appetite is good at home. i certainly wouldnt be putting up with it if you dont use it at home.
