G-Tube stinks!

For the granulation we got some things that look like long matchsticks and you touch them against the granulation and it sort of burns it for a second so it stops it from getting bigger. They might be called cauterization sticks? We got them from the GI doctor.

My oldest son Mason's only had the odor when he first got it and it had the granulation tissue around it. Once that was treated and removed it finally healed and then the odor went away. I would check with the surgeon who did it and see about the match sticks for the granulation tissue. I think once it is healed you will be fine.
