General Cleaning Product

For anyone that is interested, I have been a customer of a wellness company for 9 yrs and they are Green in everything they do. All their products are non-toxic and are great for people with Asthma or Allergies. I even heard a story recently in which a young child got a hold of the bathroom cleaner and swallowed some. The mom contacted Poison Control and they told her not to worry. He might get a little stomach ache, but all she needed to do is make sure he drank a lot of water.

One of my favorite products kills 99.9% of germs including pseudomonas which has been an issue with us. It doesn't smell chemically. It actually smells more like thyme!!

Anyway, I am very passionate about this subject. If anyone wants more information you can email me at <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="mailto:jamie.ceo@gmail.com">jamie.ceo@gmail.com</a> or visit <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.internetceomoms.com/hackmann">http://www.ceomomsbiz.com</a>

I personally just use the scent free "Method" brand of green cleaning products from Target. There is a whole line of them and they are relatively inexpensive compared to some cleaners. I love the scent-free all purpose cleaner...safe for kids, pets, and everyone <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I use the method unscented spray everyday too.

And BioKleen and OxyClean for the laundry--14.99 box lasts me 2-3 months--no plastic to hurt the earth either. <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://biokleenhome.com/products/household/laundry
">http://biokleenhome.com/produc...usehold/laundry
</a>

Seventh generation fabric softener--the regular ones give me bigger problems than anything else I can think of--aside from wood stain or paint stripper.
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.seventhgeneration.com/Dryer-Sheets">http://www.seventhgeneration.com/Dryer-Sheets</a>

Vinegar and water on the floors.

Clorox-bleach spray cleaner in the toilets and grout once every two weeks--I can't give it up. But I do know that hydrogen peroxide mixed with water gets rid of grout scum really well.

I also cave on the lemon-scented Pledge on the furniture once every two weeks.

I use vinegar and water for everything-- kitchens, bathrooms and floors. On tough spots I use baking soda. No fumes. For dusting I used a damp cloth and then every 4 weeks I dust with a solution of olive oil and vinegar. Works great!!
