There was a study on one of those primetime news shows where they had people do taste tests of water -- NYC Tap water was one of the highest rated, as was Kmart brand. There was a certain spring water that was actually Detroit river water. Worst tasting water was apparently Evian.

Now I do NOT understand this! I drink the NYC tap water & it comes from the reservoirs where I live. I dont see how that can be good! NO offense to any New Yorkers! It scares me to think what the rest taste like!

Laura, we have a seagull brand water filter at our kitchen sink. I got mine through a chemical sensitivity supply web site: www.nontoxic.com and I think it was about $300. Replace the filter every year for $40. I would like to get one for the whole house, but it is about $1000.
I am concerned about drinking water from plastic bottles - anyone else?

I think it is so interesting that everyone has such different tastes about water<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

For instance Aquafina is the only water I won't drink because I hate the taste. It is also the only one I can tell tastes different. I prefer Evian or tap.

Just goes to show that anyone who says water has no taste is wrong!
