Gentamycin is no longer widely used because of its extreme ototoxicity. You'd be hard pressed to find a doc who will give this to you, especially if you've already shown sensitivities to Tobi and Colistin.

There are safer drugs out there. If you don't need gentamycin, don't ask for it.

it's been around for a long time. it was my iv drug years ago but i got major side effects....major wobbles etc....it's very funny to see!! now i no longer take it. iv tobi is the norm now. i take colistin via neb have done since forever.
