Geographical Tongue?

I've read that it occurs in people with chronic gastric disorders...I always wondered if that includes me. Mine's kind of full of white hairy patches. I also had thrush when I was little, so it could be residual.

You know those little 'as seen on tv' electric hair trimmers you can get for like 10 bucks?

I totally shave my tongue with those, about 1x a month. It's disgusting, but it totally helps with my breath. Probably because all those bacteria have less of a home.
