Get a home treadmill or not?

My ex and I had home work-out equipment while married. He used it. I didn't. It's just not my thing. I think the only way to know if you will stick with it is to try it. And it probably helps to get the right kind of equipment. My ex didn't really do the treadmill thing. He was more of the body-builder type. He really hated running but was a very physically active sort all his life. I do better with walking outside. That has always worked best for me.

thanks for the great insight, everyone! keep the suggestions coming! i know i'll be happier with a treadmill at home, but just want to make sure i get the RIGHT treadmill that can stand up to both my leisure jog/walk and my husband's 1-2 hour 8 mph runs. hmmm....
