Getting an e flow

The pharmacy I got mine from gave me the eflow free when I had a prescription for the tobi with it. Maybe you could check into that. The name of the pharmacy is Foundation Care.
Anyway, I love my eflow. It allows me to do the tobi in like, 15 minutes and my pulmazyme in about 5! It's wonderful!! Good Luck!

Thanks Jen, but I don't nebulize Tobi, as I have gone without any antibiotics for about 5 months. I do nebulize hypertonic saline though, and I get that through the CF pharmacy. Anyway, hypertonic saline takes me around a half hour to do, so any reduction would be nice.

Yea, usually if you are on Tobi or Colistin you can get an eFlow and insurance will cover the cost b/c by using the eFlow, you use less medication and that means the ins. co. still ends up saving money even with paying for the rental of the eFlow. I don't know if you'd be able to get one though if you don't use either one of thoe meds. Not right now anyway but maybe in the near future when the eFlow is more excepted for all the meds. I know not everyone at my clinic has one. They've been tested more with the antibiotics so that's why it's easier to get one when you are on those all the time. I don't know of any testing they have done with Albuterol and HS but I was told I could use it with those anyway. If you have no luck with Foundation Care, you can try Carter's Pharmacy in Jacksonville, FL. That's where I get mine now and it is mail order. However, I do live in FL so I don't know if they serve out of state. Worth a try at least. The eFlow is great and quicker but there is a lot more maintanance with it. You will have to soak it after every treatment. You only get one nebulizer to use so it's a constant 5 min. soaking every time and sterilizing every week. Overall I still think it's worth it.
