getting your infant on a schedule...

Amelia was 4 months old before we started seeing stretches of sleep lasting 4-5 hours. Usually the longest stretch comes first so if you can, go to bed with or before...that way you get the maximum uninterrupted sleep. Until then, just wear a sling during the day or use a swing-both encourage naps so you can get things done or rest too. Try to sleep when the baby does whenever you can, don't worry about night/day right now.
