Zakarymom-if you haven't already found out, perhaps you should ask for a blood test, on either your son-a definitive answer, or on yourself or dh. if you or your dh are not carriers, than zakary does not have cf, as it is a recessive gene. are you at an accredited center? if not, you can locate one by going to the cfforg.com website and look it up there. my dd13 was diagnosed in utereo after we both my and my dh tested positive as carriers-the testing is a blood test-no big whoop on that test. hope that helps.
