So does anyone notice as they have gotten older that going #2 is different than it use to be? I do not know if it is my age or my diabetes but I seem to need more fiber in my diet and taking Miralax keeps me very regular with no hard stools. I do go every morning but I only go once a day. Is that enough? Is it my age or my diabetes? Anyone else notice any changes in that dept. since they have gotten older? As your CF gets worse does that digestion and going #2 get affected? I think I might just stay on Miralax since it keeps #2 going and soft. I know gross but I have had some big ones HA HA HA and it ripped my butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My intern doctor said to just stay on the Miralax so I do not keep ripping that fissure open.... Nice huh!!! Ya all can stop laughing!
But seriously does anyone else notice these differences. I use to go #2 right after lunch and I swore my food was passing through me! Now I go once in the morning and it is good and solid and sinks to bottom so I know I am digesting the fats well. But just once a day????
I do take 5 of the MT 20's with meals and I did up that recently cause I was getting lots of gas and stomach aches but now since increasing the MT 20's I feel alot better.
Does the enzymes make it hard to go! Maybe I am fighting a loosing battle.
Just wanted to see what others were going through.
Thanks
