Hey guys, I received some very good news over the Christmas period!!
I have been accepted to run in the 2006 London Marathon in April. Having CF myself, this will undoubtedly be a real challenge.
I am, of course, raising money for Cystic Fibrosis, so if any of you would like to donate, here is my fundraising page. You can donate online:

If you have any pennies, please make a donation. Or if you want to, just laugh at my hardcore running pose taken from a recent run in October!!

Love to you all,

Rob

Hey Rob,

That's great... I've started training for my first marathon - target October 2006 (Chicago). I read your website... I agree with you completely... running/ excercise has made all the difference in my fight against CF. I ran competitively in college, and while my 4:34 mile didn't win me any medals, I was pretty proud of it! Keep up the mileage!

Rob,
Congrats on your invite to the London Marathon - that's awesome!

Chris - congrats on your upcoming Chicago marathon as well!

I'm currently in the middle (well, a little past midway) of training for a HALF marathon in March. I've never been a runner... I've swam comptetively my whole life, but running was never my thing. HOWEVER, I've had a lot of fun training and am really looking foward to it. Later I'm hoping to run a full marathon like you guys. That's so cool that you guys are doing it - I'm impressed! Best of luck! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
