Hi folks,

about 9 months ago, I asked on this forum how I should tell the guy I was dating that I had CF. Most people said I should just be upfront about it and tell him straight up. Well, I told him, and instead of dumping me right away (my initial fear) he's stuck by me through it all! (even through my most recent diabetes scare--turns out I don't have CFRD contrary to the first glucose test.)

Anyways, I just wanted to post something positive and say that this is a kickass community! Thanks for the positive and supportive words.

I have never hid the fact that I have CF and have always found a guy who really dosen't care about the CF part... because he cares about me more.

Congrats, on the not having CFRD, and on the esteem boost in telling him and now having his support....
