Ohh...that's exciting! I love my percussor. It has 4 different head attachments to it, its super quiet, and I find that it works a lot better then manual CPT. I'm sure you'll enjoy using it.

I enjoyed percussion and hand pt while in the hospital recently and would like to add it to my chest pt routine of Vest & Acapella (and exercise!).

My family had one when I was little that I didn't think did a very good job. It had an arrow on the back of it and vibrated where the one in the hospital bounced much more neumatic or jackhammer like. Obviously mine will need to be electric powered not pressurized air like in the hospital.

My dh has been doing manual pt on me since getting out of the hospital. He does one of my 4 pt sessions each day. It's difficult for him to a a full 30 minutes which is what I would like out of a pt session. The other 3 sessions I do a combo Vest/Huff/Acapella routine.

What's the most effective percussor on the market? I'd like to ask my doc to write a prescription for it.

Thanks!

At first, I thought this was a new post and wondered why Lindsey would need a percussor post tx & thought I had really missed something lately!

I had better go back to bed and try to start my day again or something<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

A percussor is all I my docs gave me for years... I finally got a flutter.

I love my percussor. Not only does it knock out the mucus but it loosens up the knots in my back and shoulders.
