had my teeth pulled today.......uh

Hey,

I was the one who was scared about the anestheisa for my wisdom teeth a few weeks ago.

Well, i had it. They gave me the gas initially. That was awful, I hated it, they gave me too much. I felt like I was falling into the light. Then the iv to be put out. I felt notta, and then the ceiling literally started the blow around like there was a breeze.

I ended up waking up partially in the middle of it. So they really had to drug me. The novac is wearing off, and pain city.

Pain city....but it's done.

Now I'm on Vicodin. I had my 1st dose 1 hr ago.

Just wondering, anybody have any idseas as to how all this pain stuff affects us especialy? I really want to flush this crap outta my budy asap.

I don't know about the effects of the pain med or anesthesia, but I feel for you. I'm sure many of us have had our wisdoms' removed and I just remember sleeping the rest of the day and changing the packing, having pain, etc. I think it only lasted a few days if that helps.
I'm thinking of ya and I hope you do well with all of this.

I weaned myself off pain meds the day after my surgery to remove my wisdom teeth - mainly out of necessity cause I was starting college courses 3 days after my surgery. I know it helped me to drink alot of milkshakes - and I kept ice on my face the the entire 2-3 days after until I had to start school - while I was sleeping at night and all. It helped alot with getting me off the pain meds cause my face was so cold that my gums were numb.

Iam glad everything went well, and I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care.
