Happy New Year Everyone.
May this be a wonderful year and another milestone for all of us. I am hoping that 2006 is filled with happiness and health for all!

What did YOU do on New Years Eve?
I sat at home with my husband and knitted. I'm a party animal!!!

I sat at home with my boyfriend... we watched TV (Twilight Zone, South Park, etc), did my meds and therapy, kissed at midnight... then he went home because he has work early tomorrow. We're party animals too. Hahaha.

I have always spent new years with my brother. My wife?s family gets us for all others, but New Years is mine and my brothers. Since my PFT's dropped I decided smoky bars were out of the question us and some friends went out to dinner at a local brick oven bistro and came back to the house and hung out. We played trivial pursuit and ate, drank and was Merry until 2 in the morning.

I pray 2006 will be prosperous for us spirituality and forgiving on us physically.

This is going to sound pathetic to some, but for us it was just right. It was also our 7th wedding anniversary. Some make a big hoopla out of it. I have learned from my previous marriage that all that hoopla doesnt make a difference. We ate tv dinners, watched a movie with our daughter then put her to bed at her regular bedtime. Hubby took a shower while I did my treatment & alternated my time between looking at the CHristmas tree & the falling snow then we went to bed. We did stay up until Midnight doing crossword puzzles. By then I was beat so we kissed & went to sleep. The fantastic thing is that even tho it was pretty uneventful it was one of the best annivesaries & new years eves I have had. Today we go to my brothers to see my nephew & his family!

Happy New Year to all as well! I was chatting to Jessica and then to Allie for awhile. I also sat there watching my precious CFgurl92 (Holly), chatting to her friends as well, and was thinking how awesome it would be to have a great year with her and her brother and less hospital stays and for this year to finally have it click with them the importance of all their treatments for their own healths sake. Teenage years are awesome, I do remember that, but I do believe they have me beat with their head strong attitudes, lol. I also wathced the ball drop on tv from NY. I pray this will be a great, prosperous year!

And a Happy New Year to everyone, too! Let's see...my boyfriend had to work last night until 9:30 and then head to his other night job, so I didn't get to see him. Hopefully I will today. But my family and I had fun. We had a few glasses of wine and watched the music channels on TV...it's amazing how funny some song titles are when you're a little tipsy...*lol* Then we listened to Metalica while my sister and I danced around the room head-banging to the music with our two cats in our arms. Really funny-looking! Poor kitties...*lol* Then we had a little New Year's feast with stone crab, snow crab, and lobster claws (yummy!) and set off fireworks in the back yard, trying not to get them in our half-finished pool. Then we toasted at midnight and went to bed. Pretty basic, but still enjoyable. I did miss Rick, though...*sniffle* At least my cold is all but gone for the new year, so I'm happy for that.

Emily,
We watched the Twilight Zone too, it's a 24 hour marathon here. I have never watched Sci-fi before but this is hilarious. I'm so hooked. My husband sit there and rate them as good or bad and laugh at how dumb some of them are. Yet they were probably cutting edge when they came out.
