Speaking of the hypertonic solution, I was at my doctor in Hershey, PA just this past Tuesday. He recommends I take the 7% hypertonic solution twice a day from now on since I have mild CF. However, the cost of the hypertonic solution is $111.00 for a month supply. Who can afford that?????????????? No insurance covers it because "it's not medicine". It's considered herbal. I can't afford any more bills. I have my husband's insurance and state insurance as a secondary. Sure I believe that the solution works! But I can't afford $111.00 every month on top of all my other meds, bills (medical or non-medical), and just everyday living expenses. I think the price is CRAZY! IF THEY REALLY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE WITH CF, DON'T CHARGE UNREASONABLE FEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
