have you tried Glutathione

I take Glutathione orally and have felt a pretty large energy increase. I can typically do more in a day then before I took it and had lower energy levels, and I can last for longer periods of time. This isn't the case all the time, but for the majority it is true for me.

I am also suspicious that I bounce back quicker after colds (not infections, but colds) b/c of it too. I've also noticed a nice weight gain - the most I've ever weighed and kept on for almost 1 year now (granted it's not enough weight, but it's been consistenly climbing in the right direction).

I use NAC which turns into glutatione.

</end quote></div>

NAC doesnt exactly "turn into" glutathione .... NAC helps the body to produce GSH, but you have to take quite a bit to get enough of it to do that.

The problem with NAC is that NAC in large doses can be toxic ........ Glutathione isnt. You may want to do a lot of research on both before making any decisions. GSH is not toxic, and with us having cf, our bodies can be depleted of it.

I do believe NAC would be helpful if taken along with GSH .... but alone, it just isnt enough.</end quote></div>

Not true Diane, there have been no level of NAC doses determined to be toxic.

Unless you other information i haven't seen. </end quote></div>
I tried to find the article i read this in, but i havent been able to find it. I will ask on the gsh board if someone can get it for me so i can put it here.
