How fast does your heart beat?

I sometimes get worried about my heart because it often beats so rapidly.

I'm skinny and I can see and feel my heart beating outside my chest. It's quite unsettling, especially while laying in bed.

My heart rate is always high, usually around 110-120 bpm. I can see it beating too and after walking a lot sometimes it feels like its beating super hard. My docs have never mentioned anything about it, but for other reasons I've had 3 echocardiograms and my heart is in perfect shape. It could be racing because of some of the meds you're on, I know that's why mine does it. If you're worried you should bring it up with your docs and maybe they'll check it out.

Mine is always up over 100. I figured that it had to work harder just because of the CF.

Mine runs high. They would not let me leave ER a few months ago because my heart rate was high. I do have to be careful of high blood pressure lately. Working on lowering that.
