Help! Has this happen to you?

I am shceduled to do a tune up this week and my sputum culture which I did prior so we know what meds to put me on showed it did not divide!!! It showed I have Pseudo and Steno which I always culture but as explained by my doc, the bugs did not divide cause they are dead and too lazy from all the meds I am on and have been on. Doc did say this was good but does make it difficult to know what drugs to use specifically so they are just using what I have been on the last few years and what shows works on Pseudo. I am kinda upset cause we were gonna use some drugs that showed worked but I was allergic to and I was going to get desensitized. Now, we are playing a guessig game. Side note, doc said sputum cultures are not that accurate but it is all they got to use as some sort of barometer. Doc said you can culture 20-30 different species but they just do a over simplified test for CF and you get the results of common bugs like the Pseudo etc.

I am in shock it did not divide but I guess in a way good but at the same time doc said the psuedo is present and with CF people it just sits there and eats away at our lungs thus causing death.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone else have explanations from doctor?

I will be heading on in tommorow and using the same ol' drugs.

I myself have never heard of that but we are still fairly new to the whole cf thingy.
