Question.........Does anyone else live in the Knoxville area? My husband, son, and I live in Knoxville and have for a year and a half. I am currently seeing a doctor with Statcare Pulmonary group and REALLY don't like them. They really have no clue about CF or CF care. So I need to know what other options I have for pulmonologists in the area. Who do other people see and do they know what they are doing? The adult Cf clinic is officially at Vanderbilt, and I have an appointment there April 2nd, but need someone local for maintenance and such. Help please!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I know your looking for Knoxville, but what about the drive to Nashville?

My son goes to Vanderbilt Children's, but the pediatric and adult CF center at Vandy work very close with each other. I have nothing but great things to say about the care he receives. I would only assume that the care would be as exceptional at the adult center since the two work so close together (the docs that is)

There is another lady on the forums who attends the Vanderbilt adult CF clinic, if interested, maybe she can respond to your post.

Again, not sure if you're interested in the drive but just thought I would throw that out there!

I know your looking for Knoxville, but what about the drive to Nashville?

My son goes to Vanderbilt Children's, but the pediatric and adult CF center at Vandy work very close with each other. I have nothing but great things to say about the care he receives. I would only assume that the care would be as exceptional at the adult center since the two work so close together (the docs that is)

There is another lady on the forums who attends the Vanderbilt adult CF clinic, if interested, maybe she can respond to your post.

Again, not sure if you're interested in the drive but just thought I would throw that out there!
