My son is 22yrs old w/CF. I should add he's also very developmentally delayed. Our problem is he's always been toilet trained. Where used to a CFer's smell in the bathroom. My son recently started using a Bipap machine during sleep. Since starting Bipap he has had regular BM accidents during the night. He's now wearing goodnights to bed. The smell in his bedroom is horrible. Where having a hard time getting the smell out of sheets, clothes, mattress. Where trying all sorts of enzymes spays, but still not helping. Anyone have any good suggestions????? He's also very sensitive to chemicals.
Update: Thank you everyone for responding. Great ideas. My husband did go out and get air purifiers (long over due). My brother found and enzymes product called Kids and Pets and that is working great. We already have things in place like plastic sheet, washable mattress pads. My son is a tricky guy. Every morning he manages to have those all off his bed. He likes to keep us busy. Thanks again. When I have more time I'll stop being a lurker in do an introduction.
