Hi Michelle,

I had been coughing up blood every once in a while since about that age---it just got more and more frequent. I felt alot more congested without Pulmozyme at first too. Now I am used to it. I have to write down to take it every third day or I would forget to do it.

L-lysine is just an over the counter thing in the vitamin section. It is supposed to be good for healthy tissue and such.

I've had three emoblizations. Yes, it was scary for me, but I get scared about everything. It actually was not painful and they do give you medicine to sedate you a bit. It was a bit embarrasing, because they stick a needle in your groin and you can't wear underwear. The needle stick is the worst part, but no worse than getting poked for an IV. Then it is just waiting while they emoblize. I didn't feel that at all. Too me the worst part is having to lie flat on your back for so long. Even after the procedure is done, you have to lie flat for six hours or so until the groin area heals. (they go into an artery). I hope that makes sense. I'm kind of typing fast while thinking fast.

If you have any questions, just ask. I definitely would see about getting your Vitamin K dose increased too.
